About Us

Welcome to my website. My name is Angie and I am a Mum and a Grandma.

I started making Nappy Cakes when a friend had a baby. I rushed out to the florists for something ‘different’ – not just a bunch of flowers.

The best they could do for me was a ceramic engine! So I decided to make a nappy cake. My daughters thought I had gone nuts, they didn’t know what they were, and I didn’t know where I had seen them.

I went shopping for some delightful baby items and set to work. I finished up with a yummy ‘cake’ for a yummy mummy!

This was the start of “The Baby Cakery”, and now the whole family are involved.

We still go shopping for delightful baby items and unlike some people who only make one cake which you can have in any colour, ours are all different depending on how the mood takes us, but they are all gorgeous.

We can make a repeat cake, if you see one in the gallery you like, as we keep a record of all the ‘ingredients’ used.
